In order to secure my services for your date, I ask for a 50% non-refundable booking fee to be paid no later than 7 days after your initial inquiry and quotation, which can be paid in cash, Zelle, Venmo or PayPal. If no payment is received within 7 days, your date will be released and available for booking by other clients. The remaining balance is to be paid no later than 4 weeks before your event date. Last minute bookings (those with 4 weeks or less until the date of event) are payable in full, up-front, in order to secure the date.




A fee will be charged for locations outside of a 10 mile travel radius of Los Angeles. The amount charged is currently 57.5 cents per mile; this is subject to increase in 2021. All costs for travel to a booked event are to be paid by Client. Costs may include, but not limited to: Airfare, Hotel, Transportation and Parking.




For bookings where I am to be there for longer than 4 hours, a light snack and drinks would be much appreciated.




To secure a date for special occasions, photoshoots or weddings, a signed contract is required, in addition to a 50% (1/2 of the total cost of booking) non-refundable, retainer fee, to hold the booking, is due at the time of signing. Again, The booking fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Please be advised, dates and scheduled makeup times will only be reserved when a signed contract and booking fee are received.




A start and end time will be agreed upon, by client and Caitlin Cassidy, MUA, with Make That Face, Inc. Each makeup requires a certain length of time to be finished. The usual timeframe is approximately 45mins (Just MU) to 90mins (Both MU & Hair) per person. When reserving your date, book accordingly. Any additional makeup needs an outside contract and it will only be performed at the discretion of the makeup artist. All persons involved in makeup appointments need to be available at the scheduled time of said appointment, in order to not break the contract. All makeups for more than one person, must be at the same location and must also happen consecutively (no gaps in between).



Due to potential scheduling conflicts, if prior bookings change time and/or locations and it causes tardiness or the inability to perform services for your booking, we adhere to the FCFS (First Come, First Serve) policy whereby the requests of clients are attended to in the order that they reserve their services, without other biases or preferences. Caitlin's (Makeup Artist) obligation to give services hereunder, is subject to the unavailability of the Artist, as a result of sickness, accidents, acts of God and other reasons beyond the Artist’s control.



Makeup Applications will be completed to the client’s satisfaction, but is not to exceed the allotted makeup time. Ample time is given for each makeup upon booking. Acceptance of the completed makeup application, by the client, is their acknowledgement that the makeup has been done to his/her satisfaction.




Trial makeup is available for services that do not include one. The additional trial makeup service is limited to 2 hours; after which you will be charged at $75/hour. Please get in touch with me (at least 72 hours in advance) to reschedule a trial, should you not be able to attend. Otherwise it will be counted as a missed appointment and added to the final balance.



Caitlin Cassidy, MUA reserves the right to terminate this contract for any non-compliance of terms, and then the contract will become void and all monies given, are non-refundable. This booking arrangement cannot be changed after the artist/s arrives for the appointment. If Caitlin Cassidy, MUA can no longer perform services, for any reason, she will provide a recommendation for a replacement makeup artist, & it will be at the client’s discretion if they want to move forward with the replacement MUA or not. In the instance where Caitlin Cassidy, MUA, has to cancel, the Client agrees that the refund of 100% of the booking fee is the only liability owed to Caitlin Cassidy, MUA, and any and all of its owners, employees and agents.



Location of service for the day-of-event will be at the discretion of the client, but there are certain requirements that the makeup artist needs, in order to complete the makeup. things like : A set up table/work area needs to be made available for the makeup artist, at the said location. Working electrical outlets must also be made available for use, by the makeup artist, if hair is a part of the services that were booked. Ample lighting, either via natural light or lamps, is necessary for services to be performed properly. A high chair or bar stool is requested, but not necessary. Please let Caitlin know if a chair cannot be provided. Caitlin Cassidy, MUA, will not be held liable for any injuries that could possibly happen, while on location. Talent, Please Remember to wear a button down shirt or dressing gown, so you don’t mess up your Hair & Makeup while getting dressed.



All brushes, tools and makeup products are kept 100% sanitary and are sanitized between each and every makeup application. Any skin condition should immediately be reported to the makeup artist, by the client, before the Makeup application begins, and if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release makeup artist, Caitlin Cassidy, MUA, from any and all liability, in regards to any skin complications, due to allergic reactions.




The final balance is due 4 weeks before the event date – no exceptions. The person(s) responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person(s) who has signed the booking contract. This will most likely be the Producer. Acceptable forms of payment are Bank Transfer or Zelle, Cash, PayPal or Venmo.
